Lending Medical Equipment
 
The organization owns medical equipment worth approx. $4,000,000.- including most items (even expensive ones, unavailable elsewhere) that enable keeping the patient at home, thereby considerably alleviating his suffering and that of his family  caring for him.

This is in addition to the marked saving in hospitalization days that cost the country a fortune. 

The medical equipment is lended for various periods of time, depending on the patient's needs, and it is given against a security check that is returned to the borrower upon return of the borrowed item.

Approximately 50,000 lendings are made a year, for people who come from all over Israel.

The costs of this department:

Every year, new equipment is purchased for a total sum of more than $250,000.
This department is operated by volunteers, just like its adjacent maintenance department. The cost of maintenance equipment for the medical equipment is estimated at some $15,000.- a year
