Our organization has a unique video-conference service that makes it possible to hold a joint conference between a few participants around the world, in order to discuss a patient's problem and get a second opinion. This system is unique in that it enables making medical presentations in real time, without adversely affecting the quality of the data transmission. This is done while  the doctors are discussing the problem, being in different locations and seeing each other on the screen, as if they were sitting in the same room. The type of medical presentations that can be shown are: Medical scans, such as M.R.I., C.T., etc., documentation of medical tests recorded on video tapes )catheterizations, bronchoscopies, etc.(, and in the near future, we will connect an electronic microscope that will enable presentation of pathological specimens during the discussion. The purpose of this service is to get a second opinion as soon as possible, avoiding delays that sometimes might be critical for the patient. In addition, in many cases it saves the patients' families the need to travel abroad in order to  consult with experts. Since this service has been in operation, many have already benefitted from it, and in some cases, certain treatments were avoided, having been proven as unnecessary.
