In families where one of the parents is bed-ridden, life is disrupted, with the children being the first to suffer. No longer can the home give them the necessary warmth and attention, and sometimes, there is no-one home to greet them when they return from school or kindergarten.
 
In order to make it up for these children, we established a special program for them. They come here, welcomed by dedicated volunteers who help them with their homework and offer them hours of pleasant occupation, including games, arts and crafts, individual talks, etc. Everything is done with the goal of compensating for the lack and minimizing the damage to their gentle souls.
 
Every day, dozens of children come here. When they go back home, they are ready for the night, having had a nourishing supper at the end of the day.
